Faddieman's Resurrection

We wanna welcome Faddieman, a.k.a. Tony to the Darkside. He recently purchased this slick 1964 Coupe and wants us to bring it back to life for him. Tony has been out of the VW realm for 30 years, despite his love for these cars. His son tells us that he's so excited about getting back into it, that he can hardly form a sentence that doesn't mention the car in some way. Well Mr. Faddieman, we feel ya' Bro! We share your sickness and we're here to enable. We can't wait to see you drive off in it after it's finished. For the rest of you who won't get to participate in that wonderful occasion, you'll just have to follow along with the resurrection in the photo gallery.

Everybody knows Spook's bad ass '69 beetle. Well Spook has gone and gotten another wild hair and took an angle-grinder to it. Yip, he's taken a little off the top, and it's rapidly becoming a rag-top. Actually, he's been talking about it for years, so this really comes as no surprise to those of us around the shop who are sick of hearing about it! We love ya Bro! Anywho, you can follow the transformation in the photo gallery and contemplate when you want him to do this to your beetle.

Mr. Thomas, our resident bad-boy, has picked up this slick little 1971 Datsun 521. He's been tinkering around with it for some time now, making modifications and getting the engine purring. He's also been pounding out the dents and is getting it ready for paint. He plans to have this little baby as a daily driver, so go to the photo gallery, and see what he does next!
Sledd 2:A New Beginning

Our good buddy Jason has recently sold his bug and bought this rockin' 72 Camper, not necessarily in that order. Anywho, he's brought his latest love to the darkside for the kind of care only we can give it. Some of the upgrades include a complete new braking system, new suspension (with a little lowering), new steering, rims, give the motor a good going-over, and fix any little things we happen to find while we're in there. If you ask me, I'd go for the keg-erator too. One thing's fer-sher... It'll never be the same again. Follow along with it's decention in the photo gallery.

Darlene (that's Mrs. Spook) has recently acquired this beautiful little 1964 Karmann Ghia. It had a nice little patina thing goin on when they brought her home, but Spook got ahold of it with the sander and 'VOILA'! If you've been following along on facebook, you've seen this little patina monster come into it's own. We also have a photo gallery where you can go all the way back to the beginning and follow along to completion. Be looking for this sexy little number at Bug'n In July this year. We've gotten such a huge resonse from this, that Spook's even thinking about offering this as a new service for the rest of you patina monsters. Stay tuned!
